Job Description

Burlington Stores is currently searching for a Buying Intern who can bring their enthusiasm and sharp eye to our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the retail industry while helping our business grow.To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for the retail industry and the drive to help Burlington Stores achieve our goals. You should also be an analytical thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience using retail analytics is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  1. Use retail analytics to assist in the buying process.
  2. Identify potential trends in the retail industry and make recommendations to the buying team.
  3. Assist in the selection and purchase of merchandise.
  4. Monitor and analyze market conditions and product trends.
  5. Develop and maintain effective relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
  6. Assist in pricing negotiations with vendors and suppliers.
  7. Prepare reports and presentations for the buying team.
  8. Monitor inventory levels and adjust purchasing accordingly.
  9. Provide administrative support to the buying team.
  10. Maintain accurate records and documents.
