Job Description

Burlington Stores is looking for a Building Maintenance Technician with a strong technical background to join our team! This role is integral in ensuring our stores provide a safe and comfortable environment for our customers and associates. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and technical aptitude who is able to help us keep our stores in top-notch condition. The ideal candidate will have the required qualifications, as well as the demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. If you are highly organized, have a strong attention to detail, and have the requisite technical skills, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks on the store's building, such as changing light bulbs, repairing minor plumbing and electrical issues, and performing other general repairs.
  2. Perform inspections to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
  3. Maintain records of maintenance and repair work performed in the store.
  4. Respond to emergency maintenance calls in a timely manner.
  5. Assist with the installation and setup of new equipment and fixtures.
  6. Provide technical support to store personnel as needed.
  7. Monitor the store's energy usage and ensure cost-effective practices.
  8. Ensure a safe working environment by following all safety protocols.
  9. Work collaboratively with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and quality completion of service requests.
  10. Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
