2. Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent loss and maintain a safe shopping environment for customers and associates.
3. Monitor store operations and identify potential security risks, taking necessary steps to mitigate them.
4. Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify and address any potential theft or fraud.
5. Collaborate with store management to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
6. Communicate with law enforcement and other external agencies when necessary.
7. Train store associates on asset protection procedures, including proper handling of merchandise and detection of fraudulent activity.
8. Conduct regular safety and security trainings for store associates.
9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in asset protection.
10. Prepare and maintain reports on store thefts, losses, and other incidents.
11. Maintain a safe and secure work environment for all employees.
12. Display strong leadership skills and act as a role model for the team.
13. Handle any emergency situations that may arise, including medical emergencies, thefts, and accidents.
14. Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations.
15. Collaborate with other departments and teams to improve overall store security and safety.
