Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Asset Protection Supervisor to join our team at Burlington Stores. As a key member of our Asset Protection team, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our assets and ensuring the safety of our associates and customers. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong leadership skills and a keen eye for detail.   1. Develop and implement asset protection strategies and procedures to minimize loss and ensure the safety of associates and customers.
  2. Supervise a team of asset protection associates and provide guidance, training, and support to ensure they are effectively carrying out their duties.
  3. Conduct regular audits and inspections of physical and electronic security measures to identify potential vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with other departments, such as store operations and human resources, to identify and address any security or safety issues.
  5. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in asset protection technology to continuously improve the company's security measures.
  6. Investigate and document any incidents of theft, fraud, or other violations of company policies and procedures.
  7. Work with law enforcement agencies and legal counsel as needed for prosecution and resolution of criminal cases.
  8. Maintain accurate records and reports related to asset protection activities, including incident reports and inventory audits.
  9. Conduct training sessions for store associates on topics such as theft prevention and emergency procedures.
  10. Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and patterns in theft and other security incidents, and develop strategies to address them.
  11. Ensure compliance with all company policies, as well as local, state, and federal laws regarding asset protection and safety.
  12. Participate in the hiring and evaluation of asset protection team members.
  13. Communicate with store management and corporate leadership to provide updates on asset protection initiatives and issues.
  14. Serve as a role model for ethical behavior and promote a positive work culture within the asset protection team.
  15. Handle any other duties or responsibilities related to asset protection as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications
  • 5+ Years Of Experience In Retail Loss Prevention Or Asset Protection, With At Least 2 Years In A Supervisory Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Retail Security Protocols, Including Cctv Surveillance, Access Control, And Alarm Systems.

  • Familiarity With Legal And Regulatory Compliance Related To Asset Protection, Such As Theft Prevention, Fraud Detection, And Safety Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Mentor Team Members In Asset Protection Strategies And Procedures.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Reducing Shrinkage And Mitigating Loss Through Effective Risk Assessments, Investigations, And Partnerships With Law Enforcement.
