Manage and oversee the month-end close process including review and posting of journal entries, account reconciliations and review the work of others Heavy focus on ensuring global marketing expenses are accurate and complete. Interface with global teams, outside service providers, and vendors in support of company goals and objectives. Proactively identify areas for potential improvements and collaborate with Senior Manager, Financial Accounting on planning and execution. Ensure all SOX controls assigned to team are followed and documented properly. Mentor and coach other team members. Assist in the quarterly and annual financial statement and controls audits. Liaise with international service providers to ensure deadlines for local filings are met. Assist with special projects and other duties as needed.
