Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for procurement, negotiating contracts and managing vendors.
- Analyze suppliers’ pricing and performance data to identify cost savings opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and implement procedures and policies related to procurement and sourcing.
- Monitor adherence to procurement regulations and compliance requirements.
- Research and evaluate new vendors and suppliers to ensure the best possible products and services are being sourced.
- Monitor market trends and keep abreast of new developments in the procurement field.
- Prepare and analyze reports on procurement activities and performance.
- Create and manage purchase orders and invoices.
- Provide guidance and support to other departments when needed.
