We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Procurement Specialist at Brunswick. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, has a passion for process improvement, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing Brunswick's entire procurement process, from identifying and evaluating potential suppliers to negotiating and executing contracts.The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications: a bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field; a minimum of 5 years of procurement experience; excellent negotiation and communication skills; strong problem-solving and analytical skills; and an understanding of best practices in procurement. Additionally, experience with e-procurement systems and contract management is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for Brunswick's procurement process
- Negotiate and execute contracts with suppliers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Monitor and analyze supplier performance and recommend improvements
- Manage and optimize Brunswick's entire procurement process
- Develop and implement best practices in procurement
- Utilize e-procurement systems and contract management software
- Prepare and track purchase orders and invoices
- Develop and maintain accurate records of procurement activities
- Prepare reports on procurement activities and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with suppliers or contracts
- Liaise with other departments to ensure procurement needs are met
