Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team at Brunswick. If you have a passion for sourcing materials and services, possess exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, then this is the job for you!As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process for our organization, from vendor selection to contract negotiation and implementation. You will work closely with multiple departments to ensure that all purchases are made in a timely and cost-effective manner.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business management, finance, or a related field, and have at least two years of experience in a procurement-related role. You must have strong communication and organizational skills, be highly analytical, and have the ability to analyze data to make sound purchasing decisions. The successful candidate will also have a strong understanding of the purchasing and procurement process and be able to build relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the procurement process from vendor selection to contract negotiation and implementation.
  2. Work closely with multiple departments to ensure that all purchases are made in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  3. Analyze data to make sound purchasing decisions.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  5. Monitor market trends and pricing to identify the best vendors and suppliers.
  6. Prepare contracts and manage contract renewals.
  7. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  8. Develop and implement best practices in procurement.
  9. Monitor and control purchase orders and associated costs.
  10. Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities.
