  1. Conduct thorough research on existing patents and inventions in the related field to ensure originality and patentability of our company's innovations.
  2. Draft and file patent applications for our company's new products and technologies in a timely and efficient manner.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, legal, and marketing to gather necessary information and documentation for patent applications.
  4. Monitor and track the progress of patent applications, communicate with patent examiners, and respond to any inquiries or objections.
  5. Conduct patent searches and analysis to identify any potential patent infringement risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, laws, and regulations related to patents and intellectual property.
  7. Maintain accurate and organized records of all patent applications, documents, and correspondence.
  8. Support the development and implementation of patent strategies to protect the company's intellectual property and maintain a competitive advantage.
  9. Assist in the evaluation and review of potential patent acquisitions or licensing opportunities.
  10. Provide guidance and training to other team members on patent processes and procedures as needed.
  11. Represent the company in patent-related legal proceedings and negotiations.
  12. Actively participate in brainstorming and ideation sessions to contribute to the company's innovation and patent portfolio.
  13. Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accuracy in all patent-related tasks and documentation.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline patent processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in relation to handling confidential and sensitive information.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Experience In Patent Law And Patent Prosecution, With A Strong Understanding Of Intellectual Property Laws And Regulations.

  • Ability To Conduct Patent Searches And Analyze Prior Art To Determine Patentability Of Inventions.

  • Proficiency In Drafting And Filing Patent Applications, Including Writing Detailed Technical Descriptions And Claims.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Inventors, Attorneys, And Patent Examiners To Defend Patent Applications.
