
Manager - Diversity, Inclusion and Compliance
This individual will take a lead role in the design, implementation, and assessment of initiatives that support our employees by improving awareness and understanding of diversity and inclusion as a relevant skill set for all employees as well as identify and coordinate strategies that link diversity's relationship to institutional excellence. Develop innovative Human Resources practices to promote retention and recruitment of a diverse workforce. Develop a strategic plan and approach designed to improve Brookdale Community College's visibility and reputation as an employer of choice in communities previously disassociated or under-associated with the campus. Develop and recommend new or revised policies, procedures and practices within scope of responsibility.
Three years of relevant experience, preferably in higher education.
Knowledge of employment law, regulations and compliance procedures regarding equal employment opportunity
Strong knowledge of and commitment to advancing diversity awareness and inclusion.
