- Develop and implement comprehensive software testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of Broadcom's software products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop test plans and test cases.
- Design and execute test cases to identify bugs, defects, and other issues in software products.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure the stability and functionality of software updates and enhancements.
- Identify and report software defects and work with the development team to resolve them.
- Analyze and document test results, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, tools, and techniques for software testing and implement them in the testing process.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and potential areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and any potential roadblocks.
- Conduct performance and load testing to ensure software products can handle the expected workload.
- Continuously monitor and improve the overall quality of software products and processes.
- Mentor and train junior team members on software testing techniques and best practices.
- Proactively identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Broadcom's products and their intended use to ensure all testing aligns with business needs and requirements.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Software Engineering, Or A Related Field
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Software Quality Assurance, Preferably In A Research And Development Environment
Strong Understanding Of Software Development Processes And Methodologies
Experience With Automated Testing Tools And Scripting Languages Such As Python, Java, Or C++
