- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, software, and system engineering, to develop comprehensive verification plans.
- Drive the development of verification methodologies to continuously improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the verification process.
- Utilize your strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Review and analyze design specifications to ensure accurate and complete verification coverage.
- Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test benches, and other verification infrastructure to support successful verification.
- Write and execute test cases to validate design functionality and performance.
- Perform functional and code coverage analysis to ensure thorough verification.
- Document and report on verification results and provide recommendations for design improvements.
- Mentor and guide junior verification engineers to help them grow and develop their skills.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in verification methodologies to continually improve the verification process.
- Maintain a strong attention to detail and adhere to project timelines and schedules.

Extensive Experience In Verification Methodologies: A Principal Verification Engineer At Broadcom Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Industry-Standard Verification Methodologies Such As Uvm, Ovm, And Systemverilog. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing And Implementing Test Plans And Test Benches.
Strong Knowledge Of Asic Design Flow: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In The Entire Asic Design Flow, From Rtl Design To Synthesis, Timing Closure, And Tape-Out. They Should Understand The Role Of Verification In The Overall Design Process And Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Other Teams.
Expertise In Scripting And Automation: With The Increasing Complexity Of Designs, Automation Has Become An Essential Skill For A Verification Engineer. A Principal Verification Engineer At Broadcom Should Have Strong Programming Skills In Languages Such As Perl, Python, Or Tcl To Develop Automated Test Environments And Improve Verification Efficiency.
Experience With Industry-Standard Tools: Broadcom Uses Industry-Standard Tools For Verification, Including Simulation, Formal Verification, And Code Coverage. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience With These Tools And Be Able To Select And Deploy Them Effectively To Meet Project Requirements.
Leadership And Mentoring Skills: A Principal Verification Engineer Will Be Expected To Lead A Team Of Verification Engineers And Provide Technical Guidance And Mentorship.
