- Design and develop advanced network security solutions for Broadcom's global customer base.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of network security features and technologies.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential vulnerabilities and create solutions to mitigate them.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in network security to provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for all network security systems and processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network security issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and address any potential risks.
- Train and mentor junior engineers on network security best practices and procedures.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure timely and successful completion of network security projects.
- Continuously evaluate and improve network security processes and procedures to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Extensive Experience In Network Security: A Principal Engineer At Broadcom Must Possess A Deep Understanding Of Network Security Concepts, Protocols, And Technologies. They Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Relevant Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Maintaining Network Security Solutions.
Strong Technical Skills: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background In Network Security, Including Hands-On Experience With Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems, Vpns, And Other Security Technologies. They Should Also Have A Good Understanding Of Network Protocols And Architectures.
Leadership And Management Skills: As A Principal Engineer, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Leadership And Management Skills To Lead A Team Of Network Security Engineers. They Should Have Experience In Defining Project Objectives, Delegating Tasks, And Managing Resources To Meet Project Goals.
Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: Broadcom Is Looking For A Principal Engineer Who Can Identify And Address Complex Network Security Issues Efficiently. The Candidate Should Have Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills To Troubleshoot And Resolve Security-Related Issues.
Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Principal Engineer Will Be Required To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Product Management, Sales, And Customer Support.
