Job Description

Decompose customer questions into analytic objectives, measures of performance and effectiveness, and apply the decomposition into modeling and simulation environments. Analyze results of mission simulations to determine impact of key variables. Collaborate with other team members and recommend solutions by studying analytical and information needs. Validate new simulation procedures by using physical tests with appropriate instrumentation (strain gauges, accelerometers, material testing). Ensure virtual tools, methodologies and correlation are in place, continuously improving virtual predictive quality of the Strength and Durability analyses.

Job Qualifications

  • 5-10 yr experience in IC/MEMS packaging, and finite element analysis (FEA) / modeling (FEM) in packaging area

  • Expertise in defining device level and package level FEA projects, performing simulation using various modeling techniques and material models

  • Understanding of package qualification and reliability methods, failure analysis, statistics, control methodology is preferred
