  1. Perform regular maintenance and calibration of metrology equipment to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
  2. Troubleshoot and repair any issues with metrology equipment, including electronic, mechanical, and software problems.
  3. Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including equipment logs and calibration reports.
  4. Work closely with other team members and engineers to identify and resolve any metrology equipment issues that may impact production.
  5. Follow all safety protocols and procedures when working with sensitive and complex equipment.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements in metrology equipment to continuously improve processes and procedures.
  7. Ensure that all metrology equipment is compliant with industry standards and regulations.
  8. Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to order necessary parts and equipment for maintenance and repairs.
  9. Train and mentor new technicians on proper maintenance and calibration procedures for metrology equipment.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure efficient operation of metrology equipment.
  11. Communicate any equipment malfunctions or issues to management in a timely manner.
  12. Continuously monitor equipment performance and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements as needed.
  13. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times while representing Broadcom in a professional manner.

Job Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Metrology Equipment And Its Maintenance Procedures. This Includes Knowledge Of Various Measurement Techniques, Calibration Procedures, And Troubleshooting Skills.

  • Experience With Semiconductor Industry: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In The Semiconductor Industry Is Preferred. This Includes Experience In Working With Precision Measurement Tools, Equipment, And Techniques Used In The Fabrication Of Semiconductor Devices.

  • Knowledge Of Standards And Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Standards And Regulations Related To Metrology Equipment Maintenance. This Includes Iso And Semi Standards, As Well As Safety Regulations.

  • Attention To Detail: Metrology Equipment Requires Precise And Accurate Measurements, And Any Small Error Can Lead To Significant Consequences. Therefore, The Candidate Must Have Excellent Attention To Detail And Be Able To Follow Procedures With High Accuracy.

  • Team Player: The Ideal Candidate Should Be A Team Player And Possess Good Communication Skills. They Should Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Other Technicians And Engineers To Troubleshoot And Resolve Equipment Issues Efficiently. They Should Also Be Able To Document Their Work And Communicate Any Findings To The Team.
