- Safely and efficiently load and unload shipments of materials and products.
- Accurately maintain inventory levels and track incoming and outgoing materials.
- Organize and maintain warehouse space to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of materials.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate movement of materials throughout the facility.
- Adhere to all safety and quality standards while handling materials and operating equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to coordinate material movement and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Use various material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, to move materials as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections and perform maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Follow established procedures for receiving, storing, and shipping materials.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliations as needed.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies or issues with materials or inventory levels.
- Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and procedures for material handling.
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in logistics and supply chain management.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Experience In Operating And Maintaining Material Handling Equipment, Such As Forklifts And Pallet Jacks.
Knowledge Of Safety Protocols And Regulations Related To Material Handling And Storage.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Track And Record Inventory.
Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift And Move Heavy Objects.
