This Ensures A Strong Foundation In Fundamental Concepts And Principles Of Electronic Circuits And Systems.
Experience With Ic Design Tools: Candidates Should Have Experience With Industry-Standard Ic Design Tools Such As Cadence, Synopsys, And Mentor Graphics. This Includes Proficiency In Schematic Capture, Layout Design, Simulation, And Verification.
Knowledge Of Semiconductor Processes: Ic Design Engineers Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Semiconductor Fabrication Processes, Including Cmos, Bicmos, And Finfet. They Should Be Familiar With Process Design Kits (Pdks) And How To Optimize Designs For Different Manufacturing Processes.
