- Design and execute comprehensive emulation and silicon validation plans for Broadcom's semiconductor products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, verification, and software engineering to ensure timely and accurate delivery of validated products.
- Develop and maintain emulation and validation infrastructure, including scripts and tools, to improve efficiency and accuracy of testing.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in emulation and silicon validation environments.
- Analyze and interpret test results to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to design and verification teams.
- Stay updated on the latest emulation and validation techniques and technologies to continuously improve processes and methodologies.
- Work with third-party vendors to evaluate and adopt new emulation and validation tools as needed.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on the team.
- Document and communicate progress, issues, and solutions to stakeholders including management and cross-functional teams.
- Proactively identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
- Adhere to industry standards and best practices in emulation and silicon validation.
- Collaborate with other teams within Broadcom to drive innovation and improve overall product quality.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Emulation And Silicon Validation In The Semiconductor Industry.
Proficiency In Hardware Description Languages (Hdl) Such As Verilog And Systemverilog.
Strong Understanding Of Asic Design And Verification Methodology.
Experience With Emulation Platforms Such As Cadence Palladium, Mentor Graphics Veloce, Or Synopsys Zebu.
