ASIC Implementation Engineer
We are looking for an ASIC Implementation Engineer to join the team at Broadcom. The ASIC Implementation Engineer will be responsible for developing logic designs for Broadcom's semiconductor products. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of digital logic design principles and be able to apply them in their work.The successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and at least 3 years of experience in digital logic design and verification. A familiarity with Verilog, VHDL, Synopsys Design Compiler, Encounter RTL Compiler and PrimeTime is desirable.The ASIC Implementation Engineer should have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Develop digital logic designs for Broadcom’s semiconductor products.
- Utilize Verilog, VHDL, Synopsys Design Compiler, Encounter RTL Compiler and PrimeTime to develop designs.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the design process.
- Ensure designs meet all requirements.
- Provide support to other teams.
- Proactively identify and address potential design issues.
- Participate in design reviews and provide feedback.
- Adhere to design standards and procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of digital logic design principles.
- Communicate effectively with other team members.
Strong Knowledge Of Verilog And Vhdl
Proficiency In Synthesis Tools Such As Synopsys/Design Compiler
Experience With Static Timing Analysis And Timing Closure
Working Knowledge Of Low Power Design Techniques
Proficiency In Scripting Languages Such As Tcl
Perl Or Python
