Job Qualifications
  • Strong Understanding Of Analog And Mixed-Signal Circuit Design Principles: This Includes Knowledge Of Various Analog Building Blocks Such As Amplifiers, Filters, Oscillators, And Data Converters. A Qualified Candidate Should Also Have Experience In Designing Mixed-Signal Systems With Both Analog And Digital Components.

  • Proficiency In Industry-Standard Design Tools: A Successful Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer At Broadcom Should Be Well-Versed In Using Tools Such As Cadence, Mentor Graphics, And Synopsys For Schematic Capture, Circuit Simulation, And Layout Design. Familiarity With Scripting Languages Such As Matlab, Python, Or Tcl Is Also Desirable.

  • Experience With Advanced Cmos Technologies: Broadcom Is A Leader In Advanced Cmos Technologies, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Designing Analog And Mixed-Signal Circuits In These Technologies. Knowledge Of The Latest Process Nodes, Such As 28Nm And Below, Is Highly Desirable.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: As An Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer, One Will Encounter Various Challenges In Designing Complex Systems. The Ability To Analyze And Troubleshoot Issues Quickly And Effectively Is Crucial. Strong Analytical Skills And A Thorough Understanding Of Circuit Theory Are Essential For Success In This Role.

  • Effective Communication And Teamwork: A Successful Analog Mixed-Signal Design Engineer At Broadcom Should Be Able To Work Well In A Team Environment And Collaborate Effectively With Other Engineers.
