
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Bridge Home Healthcare & Hospice is looking for an experienced and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to patients, families, and caregivers under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The COTA must possess excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals and provide quality care to our patients.To be considered for this role, applicants must be professionally licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state where the services are being provided, and must have at least one year of experience in an acute care setting or with home health care patients. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are also required. Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients, families, and caregivers under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
- Provide quality care to patients in an acute care setting or with home health care patients.
- Remain professionally licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state where services are being provided.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Monitor patient progress and update treatment plans as necessary.
- Document patient care and treatment in accordance with established guidelines.
- Educate patients and families on safety and treatment protocols.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards of patient care.
Must Have An Associate Degree In Occupational Therapy From An Accredited School
Must Be A Licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Cota) In The State Of Practice
Must Have A Current Cpr Certification
Must Possess Strong Organizational And Communication Skills
Must Have Good Problem-Solving Skills
Must Have The Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team
