
Control Booth Operator
To maintain a secure detention center environment by maintaining appropriate electronic access for staff and juveniles. Work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the institution. Maintains care, custody and control of residents in accordance with established procedures. Provides safe living environment for residents. Completes necessary paperwork. Operate the electronic security access control panel and security cameras. Answer control booth telephone. Monitor numerous electronic TV surveillance screens. Serve as dispatcher for the Detention two-way radio system. Maintain a daily shift log of detention activities. On call 24 hours a day, subject to irregular work hours.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
