We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Software Architect to join our team and lead the development of our SEC (Security and Exchange Commission) compliance program. As a Senior Staff Software Architect, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and reliability of our platform, while also driving innovation and scalability. Lead the development of our SEC compliance program, ensuring that all regulations and standards are met.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure and scalable systems.
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to the SEC compliance program.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential security risks and implement appropriate measures to mitigate them.
Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Work closely with product managers and engineers to ensure that security is incorporated into the development process.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as auditors and regulators, to ensure compliance and maintain a positive relationship.
Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential security vulnerabilities and propose solutions.
Continuously monitor and assess the effectiveness of the SEC compliance program and make necessary adjustments as needed.
Keep track of industry best practices and ensure that the company is up-to-date with any changes in regulations.
Lead the implementation of new security protocols and processes.
Communicate with internal teams and external partners to ensure all security requirements are met.
Educate and train employees on security best practices and ensure adherence to company policies.
Act as a subject matter expert for all security-related matters and provide guidance to other teams as needed.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Experience In Software Architecture And Design: A Senior Staff Software Architect At Box Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Software Development Principles And Architecture Patterns. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Designing Complex And Scalable Software Systems.
Strong Knowledge Of Security And Compliance: The Role Of A Senior Staff Software Architect At Box Involves Ensuring That The Company's Software Systems Are Secure And Compliant With Industry Standards And Regulations. Therefore, They Must Possess A Strong Understanding Of Security Protocols And Compliance Frameworks.
Leadership And Mentoring Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Team, The Senior Staff Software Architect Will Be Expected To Lead And Mentor Other Software Architects And Engineers. They Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Guide And Mentor Team Members.
Experience With Cloud Technologies: Box Is A Cloud-Based Company, And The Senior Staff Software Architect Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Cloud Technologies, Including Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud Platform. They Should Also Be Familiar With Containerization And Microservices Architecture.
Business Acumen: In Addition To Technical Expertise, A Senior Staff Software Architect At Box Should Have A Strong Business Acumen. They Should Be Able To Understand And Align Technology Decisions With Business Objectives, As Well As Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams To Drive Business Value.
