- Develop and maintain a comprehensive security compliance program, ensuring Box meets all regulatory and industry standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and proactively implement measures to mitigate them.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security regulations and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements to Box's security policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that security requirements are integrated into all aspects of product development and operations.
- Lead security compliance audits and respond to any findings or recommendations.
- Monitor and report on security compliance metrics to senior leadership, identifying areas for improvement and developing action plans.
- Act as a subject matter expert on security compliance, providing guidance and training to internal teams and external partners.
- Work closely with legal and privacy teams to ensure that Box is compliant with data privacy regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external auditors, regulators, and other compliance stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and controls to enhance the overall security of Box's products and services.
- Mentor and coach junior team members and contribute to the overall growth and development of the security compliance team.
