Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP) and other relevant compliance regulations.
Implement and maintain compliance processes, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to IRAP and other compliance requirements.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify any compliance gaps and recommend solutions to address them.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance requirements are integrated into business processes and systems.
Monitor and track compliance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
Stay updated on any changes or updates to compliance regulations and ensure timely implementation of necessary changes.
Lead the preparation and management of external compliance audits and assessments.
Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs to educate employees on their roles and responsibilities.
Investigate and resolve any compliance-related issues or incidents.
Collaborate with legal and risk management teams to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Maintain relationships with external compliance partners and vendors.
Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance the company's compliance program.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of compliance activities.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Mentor and train junior compliance team members.
Identify and escalate any potential compliance risks to senior management.
Participate in industry forums and stay updated on best practices in compliance.
Represent the company in external compliance meetings and forums.
Lead and support compliance-related projects as needed.
Proactively identify and implement solutions for any compliance challenges or roadblocks.

Job Qualifications

Extensive Knowledge Of Irap Standards And Regulations: A Senior Compliance Manager At Box Must Possess A Deep Understanding Of The Information Security Registered Assessors Program (Irap) And Its Associated Standards, Policies, And Procedures. This Includes A Thorough Knowledge Of The Irap Assessment And Compliance Process.
Strong Experience In Compliance Management: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Compliance Management, With A Focus On Irap. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing Irap Compliance Programs, Including Conducting Assessments, Developing Remediation Plans, And Ensuring Ongoing Compliance.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Senior Compliance Manager, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Compliance Professionals And Working Closely With Various Stakeholders, Including Internal Teams And External Auditors. Therefore, Strong Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Technical Background And Understanding Of Cloud Security: Box Is A Leading Provider Of Cloud Content Management And Collaboration Solutions. Therefore, A Senior Compliance Manager Should Have A Technical Background And A Strong Understanding Of Cloud Security To Effectively Manage Compliance In A Cloud Environment.
Certification In Irap Or Other Relevant Certifications: Box May Require Candidates For This Role To Hold A Certification In Irap Or Other Relevant Certifications Such As Cissp, Cism, Or Cisa. This Demonstrates A Commitment To Ongoing Professional Development And A Thorough Understanding Of Compliance Principles And Practices.
