- Develop and maintain security tooling to monitor and protect the Box platform.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing security tooling to ensure the highest level of protection for customer data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities and risks.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies to enhance the overall security posture of the platform.
- Conduct regular security assessments and tests to identify and address any potential weaknesses in the system.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on security tooling and provide guidance and support to other teams within the company.
- Monitor and analyze security tooling performance and provide recommendations for optimizations and improvements.
- Respond to security incidents and work with the incident response team to mitigate and remediate any security issues.
- Communicate security tooling updates and improvements to relevant stakeholders, including leadership and customers.
- Participate in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Proactively identify potential security threats and risks and implement measures to prevent them.
- Collaborate with external security vendors and researchers to identify and address security issues.
- Mentor and train junior team members on security tooling best practices and techniques.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Software Development And Security Engineering
Expertise In Coding Languages Such As Java, Python, And/Or Go
Strong Understanding Of Security Principles And Best Practices
Experience With Security Tooling And Automation, Such As Vulnerability Scanning, Threat Detection, And Incident Response.
