- Identify and target potential partner companies, conduct market research and analysis, and establish relationships to drive new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product, to create and execute joint partnership initiatives.
- Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, including terms, pricing, and revenue sharing.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations and pitches to potential partners, showcasing Box's unique value proposition.
- Monitor and analyze partnership performance, track key metrics, and report on progress to senior leadership.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partner companies, managing ongoing communication and fostering strong relationships.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor strategies, and proactively develop strategies to differentiate Box in the marketplace.
- Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote partnership opportunities.
- Mentor and train junior team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
Strong Sales Experience: A Successful Partner Sales Manager At Box Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In B2B Sales, Preferably In The Technology Or Software Industry. They Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Achieving Sales Targets And Building Successful Partnerships.
Excellent Communication Skills: As A Partner Sales Manager, Effective Communication Is Essential To Build Strong Relationships With Partners And Internal Teams. This Includes Excellent Verbal And Written Skills, As Well As The Ability To Present And Negotiate Effectively.
Strategic Thinking: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strategic Mindset And Be Able To Develop And Execute Sales Strategies That Align With Box's Overall Business Goals. They Should Also Have The Ability To Identify New Opportunities And Drive Growth Through Partnerships.
