Preparator (Fabricator and Wood Finisher)

This position assists with fabrication, mounting and general handling of permanent and special exhibits. At times, Preparator will be expected to safely handle and work around artifacts. Preparator will also assist in the maintenance of museum’s fabrication shop and keep specified equipment in pristine and safe condition. Preparator must be an experienced carpenter. The preparator must be able to safely operate power tools and dust collection systems, as well as assist with installing modular walls, casework and lighting.
