We are searching for an enthusiastic Cafe Baker to join our team and create mouth-watering desserts and breads to tantalize customer's taste buds. You should be an experienced baker with a creative flair for creating unique recipes and a passion for providing excellent customer service.To be a successful Cafe Baker at Boudin Bakery, you must possess a combination of culinary knowledge, organizational skills, and a positive attitude. You must also have a minimum of 3 years of baking experience, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to work efficiently in a team setting. Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare a variety of fresh breads, cakes, and desserts to a high standard of quality.
  2. Develop creative recipes and ideas for unique baked goods.
  3. Ensure that all food is stored and prepared correctly and in accordance with food safety regulations.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  5. Ensure that all equipment and utensils are properly cleaned and stored.
  6. Monitor stock levels and order ingredients as needed.
  7. Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  8. Provide friendly and professional customer service.
  9. Work closely with the rest of the team to ensure that all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  10. Assist in other tasks as assigned by the head baker.

About Boudin Bakery

Boudin Bakery is a bakery based in San Francisco, California, known for its sourdough bread (trademarked as "The Original San Francisco Sourdough"). The bakery is recognized as the "oldest continually operating business in San Francisco." It was established in 1849 by Isidore Boudin, son of a family of master bakers from Burgundy, France, by blending the sourdough prevalent among miners in the Gold Rush with French techniques. Steven Giraudo, an artisan baker from Italy whose first job in America was at Boudin, bought the bakery in 1941 but later sold it in 1993 after Boudin became the cornerstone of the San Francisco French bread Company. After a series of ownership changes the bakery was reacquired by Steven Giraudo's grandson, Daniel, in 2002. Under Daniel's leadership Boudin's products are available globally through Costco, Safeway and other grocery retailers.
