Job Description

At Bottega Veneta, we are looking for a Merchandise & Product Planning Manager who is passionate about our brand and has the ability to drive product success. As a cornerstone of our growth, this multifaceted role requires an experienced leader with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have a strong background in managing merchandise across multiple categories. We seek someone who is a strong communicator, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams and develop strategies to optimize product availability and inventory levels. An innovative thinker, this person will be able to think outside the box to develop creative solutions to challenges and maximize sales.Required qualifications include: • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field • At least 5 years of experience in merchandise planning, product management, allocation, or related disciplines • Demonstrated success in developing and managing merchandise strategies • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other related software applications

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage merchandise strategies to optimize product availability and inventory levels.
  2. Analyze sales data to identify patterns and trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution of merchandise plans.
  4. Analyze customer feedback to develop creative solutions and maximize sales.
  5. Create and maintain product development timelines.
  6. Develop and implement strategies to reduce inventory and increase turnover.
  7. Monitor inventory levels and ensure product availability.
  8. Monitor competitors’ product offerings and pricing.
  9. Prepare reports and presentations on product performance and inventory levels.
  10. Provide recommendations to senior management on product and pricing strategies.
