- Conduct educational presentations and product demonstrations to healthcare providers and patients on the benefits of the Watchman device for stroke prevention.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and administrators, to increase awareness and adoption of the Watchman therapy.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted messaging and materials for promoting the Watchman device.
- Stay up-to-date on clinical data and research related to the Watchman device, and effectively communicate this information to healthcare providers and patients.
- Identify and attend relevant conferences, events, and tradeshows to increase awareness of the Watchman device and generate leads.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless and positive experience for healthcare providers and patients, from initial education to post-procedure follow-up.
- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively address any concerns or questions from healthcare providers and patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions and activities, and provide regular reports to management on progress and challenges.
- Continuously evaluate and adapt strategies to improve the effectiveness and reach of the Watchman therapy education program.
- Represent Boston Scientific in a professional and positive manner at all times to reinforce the company's mission and values.
Excellent Communication Skills: The Watchman Therapy Awareness Representative Must Possess Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills In Order To Effectively Educate And Inform Healthcare Professionals And Patients About The Benefits And Risks Of Watchman Therapy.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: A Thorough Understanding Of Medical Terminology And The Cardiovascular System Is Essential For This Role. The Watchman Therapy Awareness Representative Must Be Able To Confidently Discuss The Device And Its Indications With Healthcare Professionals.
Sales Experience: Previous Sales Experience, Particularly In The Medical Device Industry, Is A Valuable Qualification For This Position. The Watchman Therapy Awareness Representative Will Be Responsible For Promoting And Selling The Watchman Therapy Device, So Previous Sales Success Is Highly Desirable.
Clinical Expertise: A Background In Healthcare, Specifically In Cardiology, Is A Beneficial Qualification For This Role.
