- Develop and implement strategic plans for the clinical data management team to support the success of clinical research programs.
- Oversee the collection, processing, and quality control of clinical trial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Lead and mentor a team of clinical data management professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work and professional growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, biostatistics, and data management, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of data for analysis.
- Develop and implement data management processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track the progress of clinical data management activities and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure timely and high-quality data deliverables.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on data management best practices, regulations, and industry trends.
- Participate in the selection and implementation of data management systems and tools to support clinical trial data collection and analysis.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy in clinical data management.
Extensive Experience In Clinical Data Management: A Senior Manager, Clinical Data Management Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Managing Clinical Data For Medical Device Or Pharmaceutical Companies. This Includes Experience In All Phases Of Clinical Trials And Knowledge Of Relevant Regulations And Guidelines.
Strong Leadership Skills: As A Senior Manager, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading A Team Of Data Managers And Analysts. Therefore, They Should Possess Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Delegate Tasks, Provide Guidance, And Foster A Positive And Collaborative Work Environment.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Data Management Systems And Tools: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Data Management Systems And Tools, Such As Edc Systems, Cdisc Standards, And Data Validation Software.
