- Analyze large and complex data sets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that may indicate potential risks or opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data analysis strategies that will drive strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports and presentations on data analysis findings to senior leadership.
- Develop and maintain data analytics tools and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the internal audit function.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Identify potential data quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis to continuously improve the internal audit function.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gather information and present findings.
- Mentor and train junior data analysts within the team.
- Collaborate with external auditors to provide necessary data and support for audits.
- Adhere to all data privacy and security protocols to ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Participate in departmental and cross-functional projects as assigned.
- Take initiative to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all data analysis work.

Extensive Experience In Data Analysis And Manipulation: A Senior Data Analyst At Boston Scientific Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Data Analysis And Manipulation, With A Strong Understanding Of Various Data Mining And Statistical Analysis Techniques. This Would Include Proficiency In Tools Like Sql, Python, R, And Tableau.
Knowledge Of Global Internal Audit Processes: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Global Internal Audit Processes, Including Risk Assessment, Control Evaluation, And Compliance. This Would Enable Them To Effectively Analyze And Interpret Data In The Context Of The Company's Internal Audit Requirements.
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills: As A Senior Data Analyst, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills To Effectively Communicate Complex Data Insights To Senior Management And Key Stakeholders. This Would Include The Ability To Create Visually Appealing And Easy-To-Understand Dashboards And Reports.
Strong Problem-Solving And Critical Thinking Abilities: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Mindset To Identify Patterns And Trends In Large Datasets, And Use This Information To Provide Actionable Insights To The Internal Audit Team.
