- Design and develop control systems for medical devices, ensuring they meet all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into control system designs.
- Conduct thorough analysis and testing of control systems, identifying and addressing any potential issues or risks.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of control system designs, including specifications, schematics, and test plans.
- Lead the implementation and validation of control systems, ensuring they meet all technical and functional requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any control system issues that arise during development, testing, or production.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in control system technology, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source components and materials for control system development.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards for medical device design and development.
- Participate in design reviews and provide input on control system functionality, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders, including management and cross-functional teams.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate control system performance, making recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
- Participate in the development of new product concepts and provide technical expertise to support product innovation.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, quality, and data privacy.
Bachelor's Degree In Electrical Engineering Or Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Controls Engineering, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry
Strong Knowledge Of Plc Programming And Hmi Design
Experience With Motion Control Systems And Servo Drives
Knowledge Of Fda Regulations And Quality Standards For Medical Device Manufacturing.
