  1. Lead and oversee the design, implementation, and analysis of clinical trials for Boston Scientific's medical devices.
  2. Develop statistical analysis plans and provide guidance on statistical methodologies.
  3. Conduct statistical analysis and interpretation of data to support decision making for clinical trial protocols.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality and integrity of study data.
  5. Communicate study results and findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in biostatistics and provide recommendations for incorporating new methodologies.
  7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and guidelines in all statistical activities.
  8. Mentor and train junior biostatisticians on statistical methods and procedures.
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness in statistical analysis.
  10. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all statistical analyses and results.
  11. Participate in the development of publications and presentations related to the clinical trial results.
  12. Collaborate with external vendors and contractors as needed.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert for biostatistics within the organization.
  14. Work with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for improving patient outcomes through data analysis.
  15. Adhere to company policies and procedures and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Biostatistics, Statistics, Or A Related Quantitative Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Statistical Analysis And Data Interpretation In The Medical Device Or Pharmaceutical Industry.

  • Expertise In Statistical Software Packages Such As Sas, R, Or Stata.

  • Proven Track Record Of Designing And Executing Clinical Trials And Studies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Complex Statistical Findings To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
