- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the R&D team, encouraging new ideas and creative problem-solving to drive progress in the medical device industry.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, scientists, and product managers, to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the product development process.
- Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to commercialization, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor industry trends and developments, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical device technology and incorporating them into the company's R&D strategy.
- Drive the development and implementation of new processes and technologies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the R&D team.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively, including budget and personnel, to support the successful execution of R&D projects.
- Foster a culture of compliance and adherence to regulatory requirements, ensuring that all R&D activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Serve as a key liaison with senior management, providing regular updates and reports on R&D progress, challenges, and opportunities.
Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Discipline Such As Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Or Chemistry.
Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In A Research And Development Role, Preferably Within The Medical Device Industry.
Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading Cross-Functional Teams.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Medical Device Regulations And Quality Systems, Such As Fda, Iso, And Gmp.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Internal And External Stakeholders.
