  1. Develop and implement quality procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  2. Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential product failures.
  3. Monitor and analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  4. Lead investigations and root cause analyses for product non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product development and manufacturing process.
  6. Participate in new product development projects, providing quality expertise and guidance.
  7. Conduct audits of internal processes and external suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  8. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality engineering and make recommendations for process improvements.
  9. Train and educate employees on quality standards, procedures, and regulations.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the company and regulatory agencies during audits and inspections.
  11. Continuously strive to improve the overall quality and effectiveness of our products and processes.
  12. Act as a champion for quality within the organization and promote a culture of quality excellence.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field: A Quality Engineer At Boston Scientific Must Have A Strong Foundation In Engineering Principles And Concepts, Which Can Be Acquired Through A Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field.

  • Experience In Quality Management: Candidates For This Role Should Have Previous Experience In Quality Management, Including Knowledge Of Quality Standards, Processes, And Tools Such As Six Sigma And Lean Methodologies.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Device Regulations: Boston Scientific Is A Highly Regulated Industry, And A Quality Engineer Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Relevant Regulations Such As Iso 13485, Fda Qsr, And Mdr.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Quality Engineers At Boston Scientific Are Responsible For Identifying And Solving Complex Quality Problems. Therefore, Candidates Should Possess Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Effectively Troubleshoot And Resolve Issues.

  • Attention To Detail: Quality Is Of Utmost Importance In The Medical Device Industry, And A Quality Engineer Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure All Products Meet The Required Quality Standards. This Includes Conducting Thorough Inspections, Audits, And Documentation Reviews.
