  1. Develop and implement comprehensive sales training programs for the company's sales teams.
  2. Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify training needs and gaps in knowledge and skills.
  3. Utilize a variety of training methods, such as classroom instruction, e-learning, and on-the-job training, to effectively deliver training content.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and sales techniques to continuously improve training materials and programs.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure training programs align with business objectives.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback from sales representatives.
  7. Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, and job aids.
  8. Train and mentor other sales training team members.
  9. Serve as a subject matter expert on sales techniques, products, and industry trends.
  10. Provide leadership and guidance to sales representatives to improve their performance and enhance their knowledge and skills.
  11. Assist in the onboarding of new sales team members.
  12. Travel to various locations to deliver training programs and support sales teams.
  13. Maintain accurate records and reports of training activities and results.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve training processes and procedures.
  15. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Sales Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Sales, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry. This Experience Should Include A Proven Track Record Of Consistently Meeting Or Exceeding Sales Targets.

  • Training And Coaching Expertise: The Principal Sales Training Specialist Should Have Experience Developing And Delivering Successful Sales Training Programs. They Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Adult Learning Principles And Be Able To Effectively Coach And Mentor Sales Teams.

  • Knowledge Of Medical Devices And Industry: A Thorough Understanding Of The Medical Device Industry, Including Key Trends And Competitor Landscape, Is Essential For This Role. The Candidate Should Also Have A Strong Understanding Of Boston Scientific's Products And Services.

  • Strong Communication And Presentation Skills: As The Principal Sales Training Specialist, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Delivering Training Programs And Materials To Sales Teams. Therefore, Strong Communication And Presentation Skills Are Crucial, Along With The Ability To Adapt Training To Different Learning Styles.

  • Leadership And Project Management Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Leading And Managing Projects, As Well As A Team Of Sales Trainers. They Should Also Possess Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams.
