
Manufacturing Engineering Manager

- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize the manufacturing processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support to drive continuous improvement and meet production goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues related to manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in the manufacturing process.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure employees are properly trained on new processes and equipment.
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment to ensure minimal downtime.
- Work closely with suppliers to source and qualify new materials and equipment.
- Develop and manage budgets for the manufacturing engineering department.
- Collaborate with R&D teams to introduce new products into the manufacturing process.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology, and recommend new methods and techniques to improve processes and reduce costs.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the manufacturing engineering team.
- Communicate regularly with upper management on production status, challenges, and potential improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, and ensure all staff members do the same.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Manufacturing Engineering Role, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Manufacturing Processes And Equipment, Including Knowledge Of Lean Manufacturing Principles.
Demonstrated Leadership Experience And Ability To Manage A Team Of Engineers And Technicians.
Excellent Problem-Solving And Project Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize And Meet Deadlines In A Fast-Paced Environment.
