Lean Specialist

Facilitate Lean training programs for team members. Prepare materials to deepen the understanding of lean manufacturing. Coach and mentor team members with applying what was learned to improve work place safety and operational performance. Work to Improve operational performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost with the Production team. Identify continuous improvement opportunities across the Value Stream. Work with cross functional departments and teams to identify and remove waste. Develop/update processes, and train team members to sustain improvements made for processes that deliver value to operations. Track performance measures that capture continuous improvement performance in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Assisting in the analyzing, designing, and implementation of manufacturing and business process improvement, resulting in increase capacity, reduce lead-time, reduction in the work-in-process, improve fill-rates, and improve process flow and efficiency.
