  1. Lead and oversee the planning, implementation, and management of clinical trials for Boston Scientific's oncology products.
  2. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the oncology landscape, including current treatment options and emerging trends.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute clinical trial protocols that align with company objectives and regulatory requirements.
  4. Manage and track trial progress, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  5. Oversee site selection, initiation, and monitoring activities, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and applicable regulations.
  6. Serve as the main point of contact for clinical trial sites, providing guidance and support as needed.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and investigators in the oncology field.
  8. Review and analyze clinical trial data, identifying trends and potential issues that may impact trial outcomes.
  9. Collaborate with the data management team to ensure accurate and timely collection and analysis of trial data.
  10. Communicate trial updates, results, and potential issues to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  11. Stay current on industry trends and advancements in oncology research, incorporating new knowledge into trial design and management.
  12. Mentor and train junior clinical trial staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  13. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines, including FDA regulations and ICH-GCP.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve clinical trial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  15. Represent Boston Scientific at external meetings, conferences, and events related to oncology clinical trials.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field: A Clinical Trial Manager, Oncology Should Have At Least A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Clinical Research, Pharmacology, Or Oncology.

  • Previous Experience In Clinical Trial Management: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Managing Clinical Trials, Preferably In The Field Of Oncology. This Experience Should Include Study Design, Protocol Development, And Management Of Study Timelines And Budgets.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Regulatory Guidelines: A Clinical Trial Manager In Oncology Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Fda Regulations And Ich/Gcp Guidelines. This Includes Experience In Preparing And Submitting Regulatory Documents And Interacting With Regulatory Authorities.

  • Excellent Project Management Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Strong Organization And Project Management Skills. They Should Be Able To Effectively Manage Multiple Clinical Trials Simultaneously, Ensuring That They Are Completed On Time And Within Budget.

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Abilities: A Clinical Trial Manager, Oncology Should Be An Effective Communicator And Possess Strong Leadership Skills. They Should Be Able To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And External Partners To Ensure The Successful Execution Of Clinical Trials. Additionally, They Should Be Able To Provide Guidance And Mentorship To Team Members.
