- Act as a liaison between Boston Scientific and healthcare professionals to provide support and guidance on our products and services.
- Conduct clinical research and gather data to support the effectiveness and safety of our products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans for product adoption.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on interventional oncology and embolization for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Attend medical conferences and events to network and represent Boston Scientific.
- Provide training and support to sales teams to ensure a deep understanding of our products and their clinical applications.
- Identify and develop key opinion leaders in the field of interventional oncology and embolization.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in order to provide valuable insights and recommendations to the company.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop educational and promotional materials for our products.
- Continuously monitor and report on competitor activities and market trends to inform business strategies.
- Travel to various locations to conduct in-person meetings and presentations with healthcare professionals.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within healthcare facilities and institutions.
- Uphold the values and mission of Boston Scientific and promote a positive image of the company.
Advanced Degree: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Scientific Or Healthcare-Related Field Is Required For This Role. This Could Include A Degree In Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Or A Related Field.
Clinical Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience Working In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In The Field Of Interventional Oncology And Embolization. This Experience Should Include Direct Patient Care, As Well As Knowledge Of Current Treatment Options And Procedures.
Strong Communication Skills: As A Clinical Science Liaison, The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Scientific Information To A Variety Of Audiences Is Crucial. This Includes Presenting To Healthcare Professionals, As Well As Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams Within The Company.
Industry Knowledge: A Strong Understanding Of The Medical Device Industry, Specifically In The Area Of Interventional Oncology And Embolization, Is Essential For This Role. This Includes Knowledge Of Current Products And Technologies, As Well As An Understanding Of The Competitive Landscape.
Travel Flexibility: This Role Will Require Frequent Travel, Both Domestically And Internationally, To Attend Conferences, Visit Key Opinion Leaders, And Support Clinical Trials. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Adapt To A Flexible Travel Schedule And Be Comfortable With Frequent Travel.
