Job Description

At BNP Paribas, we are seeking an experienced and accomplished Vice President - Counsel to join our Equity Derivatives team. This is an excellent opportunity to be an integral part of a dynamic, global organization and to contribute to the continued success of our Equity Derivatives division.This role requires a highly motivated and experienced individual with a proven track record of success in legal and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of the regulations and laws governing the Equity Derivatives industry, and should have the ability to quickly and effectively interpret and apply them. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and be able to develop relationships with colleagues across the organization.We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills as well as a commitment to accuracy and quality. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of the regulations and laws governing the Equity Derivatives industry.
  2. Interpret and apply regulations and laws to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  3. Establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders.
  4. Provide legal consultation services to the Equity Derivatives division.
  5. Create and review contracts, agreements and other legal documents.
  6. Monitor and review industry developments and trends to identify potential risks.
  7. Manage and resolve legal issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  8. Provide counsel and guidance to management and other stakeholders.
  9. Ensure accuracy and quality of legal documents.
  10. Contribute to the continued success of the Equity Derivatives division.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills

  • Juris Doctor Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • At Least Years Of Legal Experience In The Equity Derivatives Field

  • Knowledge Of The Regulatory Landscape Related To Equity Derivatives

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Legal Negotiations

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment

  • Ability To Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously
