Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and driven SSE - Dotnet Developer to join our PRIME team within Global Markets IT. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining key applications for our Prime Services business, supporting our clients in the fast-paced world of global markets.   1. Develop and maintain key applications for BNP Paribas' Prime Services business.
  2. Collaborate with team members to design and implement efficient and effective solutions.
  3. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Dotnet development.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  5. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  6. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  7. Ensure all development work is in compliance with coding standards and best practices.
  8. Work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting project deadlines.
  9. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and escalate any issues.
  10. Continuously improve and optimize existing applications to enhance performance and user experience.
  11. Mentor and guide junior team members to foster their growth and development.
  12. Adhere to BNP Paribas' security and risk management policies and procedures.
  13. Participate in team meetings and provide input on process improvements and new technologies.
  14. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of applications.
  15. Maintain accurate documentation for all development work.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Knowledge Of C# And .Net Framework: A Sse - Dotnet Developer At Bnp Paribas Should Have A Deep Understanding Of C# Programming Language And The .Net Framework, As These Are The Primary Tools Used For Software Development At The Bank.

  • Experience With Prime Services: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Prime Services In The Financial Industry. This Includes Knowledge Of Prime Brokerage, Securities Lending, And Prime Clearing.

  • Familiarity With Global Markets: Bnp Paribas Is A Global Bank With A Strong Presence In The Financial Markets. Therefore, The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Global Markets And How They Operate.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: As A Sse - Dotnet Developer, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Troubleshooting And Solving Complex Technical Issues. Therefore, Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills Are Essential For This Role.

  • Team Player With Excellent Communication Skills: Working In A Global Team Environment, The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication Skills And Be Able To Collaborate Effectively With Team Members From Different Backgrounds.
