Market Risk Analyst

We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our Market Risk team here at BNP Paribas. As a Market Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in the analysis and mitigation of risk across our global markets. You will be responsible for monitoring, assessing, and reporting the risk position of the bank’s trading portfolios and for providing our traders with the best possible risk advice and support.The ideal candidate for this role will have a solid background in financial markets, quantitative analysis, and financial modeling, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:

1. Monitor and assess the risk position of the bank’s trading portfolios.
2. Provide traders with risk advice and support.
3. Develop and maintain quantitative models and analytics to identify and quantify risks.
4. Monitor and analyze market trends and developments.
5. Prepare reports and presentations on risk-related topics.
6. Perform stress tests and back-testing of models and strategies.
7. Implement risk management best practices and procedures.
8. Liaise with other departments to ensure risk management is aligned with the bank’s overall strategy.
9. Keep up to date with industry regulations and standards.
10. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
