- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth within the hedge fund and asset management sector of the Equity Derivatives business.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, including hedge funds and asset management firms, to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing, to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by senior management.
- Manage and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote the brand and build relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies and external regulations while conducting sales activities.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the sales function.
Extensive Experience In Sales And Trading: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Sales And Trading, Preferably In The Hedge Fund/Asset Management Sector. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Equities And Derivatives Markets, And Be Able To Effectively Communicate Complex Financial Products To Clients.
Strong Network And Client Relationships: The Director Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Building And Maintaining Strong Relationships With Hedge Fund And Asset Management Clients. They Should Have A Wide Network Of Industry Contacts And Be Able To Leverage These Relationships To Generate New Business And Drive Revenue Growth.
Excellent Knowledge Of Hf/Am Industry: The Candidate Should Possess An In-Depth Understanding Of The Hedge Fund And Asset Management Industry, Including Investment Strategies, Regulatory Landscape, And Key Players. This Knowledge Will Be Essential In Identifying Client Needs And Tailoring Solutions To Meet Their Specific Requirements.
Leadership Skills: As A Director, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Sales Professionals And Driving The Overall Sales Strategy For The Hf/Am Eqd Desk. Therefore, They Should Have Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Mentor Team Members, And The Ability To Make Strategic Decisions Under Pressure.
Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills: The Director Will Be The Face Of The Hf/Am Eqd Desk At Bnp Paribas, And As Such, They Should Possess Excellent Communication And Negotiation Skills.
