
Associate - Global Markets Quantitative Research and Trading
BNP Paribas is looking for an energetic, innovative, and passionate Associate to join the Global Markets Quantitative Research and Trading team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a highly competitive and challenging environment, utilizing their quantitative and analytical skills to drive the development and implementation of quantitative trading strategies and models. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, computer science, or engineering, as well as have experience in quantitative finance, computer programming, and financial markets. In addition, the ideal candidate must possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the capability to work autonomously and collaboratively. The successful candidate must also have strong organizational skills, a creative and entrepreneurial mindset, and a deep understanding of the financial markets.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop quantitative trading strategies and models
- Utilize quantitative and analytical skills to support the development of investment strategies
- Analyze financial markets data to identify trends and insights
- Develop and maintain computer programs and databases to support quantitative research
- Research and evaluate various investment opportunities and develop recommendations
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate research findings
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with colleagues to drive innovation and develop new ideas
- Monitor financial markets and make recommendations for investment strategies
- Stay up-to-date with the latest market trends and best practices
