Wellness Coordinator

We are looking for a passionate, motivated, and organized individual to join our team and help us enhance the well-being of our members and associates.As the Wellness Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and evaluating a comprehensive wellness program for the members and associates of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. To be successful in this role, you should have a deep understanding of wellness programs, health promotion, and health education.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in health promotion and/or wellness program development. Responsibilities:

1. Develop, coordinate, and evaluate a comprehensive wellness program for the members and associates of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina.
2. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the wellness program and make changes as needed.
3. Develop and implement strategies for increasing participation in the program.
4. Develop and conduct health promotion and health education activities.
5. Provide guidance and support to members and associates regarding individual health-related needs.
6. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors.
7. Provide health and wellness resources to members and associates.
8. Develop and monitor program budgets.
9. Maintain accurate records and reports to track program effectiveness.
10. Stay up-to-date with the latest health and wellness trends and best practices.
