Utilization Review Nurse

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze utilization data to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness of medical services
2. Ensure compliance with private health insurance policies, medical coding, and standards of care
3. Provide clinical guidance and expertise to interdisciplinary teams
4. Review and adjust utilization reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance
5. Monitor utilization trends and recommend changes to utilization review processes
6. Assist in the development and implementation of utilization management plans
7. Maintain organized records of utilization review activities
8. Provide education and training to staff, providers, and other stakeholders
9. Assist in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
10. Monitor the effectiveness of utilization review activities and take appropriate corrective action when necessary
