Quality Assurance Analyst

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to join the BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina team! As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you’ll be responsible for conducting tests on software and its components to ensure they meet the quality standards of the organization. You’ll be an integral part of the product development process, ensuring that our customers have access to the best products and services on the market.To be successful in this role, you should have a strong grasp of quality assurance best practices and a keen eye for detail. In addition to this, you should be a creative problem solver who’s able to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute test plans and cases to ensure that software meets quality standards.
2. Identify, analyze, and document defects, and provide feedback to software development teams.
3. Monitor and report on software quality metrics.
4. Collaborate with software developers and other stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met.
5. Stay up-to-date on quality assurance best practices and tools.
6. Develop and implement test automation scripts where appropriate.
7. Perform manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications.
8. Monitor and analyze software performance and stability.
9. Investigate customer complaints and develop solutions to address any issues.
10. Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in quality assurance.
